Trancoso Golf

World class golf has arrived in Trancoso. The new 18 hole Terravista golf course opened in June of 2004. Set on the cliffs and overlooking the beach and sea it provides one of the most dramatic golf settings to be found. Expect to see incredible ocean views, native Brazilian rainforest and four spectacular holes running alongside the ocean and cliffs. The new public course is already considered one of the top courses in South America.

All holes have several tee boxes so that the course can be adjusted to your own experience level. From the gold tees, championship level, the course is 7 km long. From the blue tees, resort level, the course is 6,1 km long. From the women's tee the course is 4,8 km. Golf clinics with professional instructors and practice areas enable even the beginner to hone their skills before venturing out on this challenging course. The course is designed by Dan Blankenship of Gold Tee Golf. A golf handicap is requested to play the course itself. Discount packages are available. The course is located 7 km north of the center of Trancoso and easily reached by car/taxi.
